Women’s Life Group
Location: 1485 Leverette Rd. #408, Warner Robins GA 31088
Start date: January 24, 2017
Hi, I’m Karol Matthews. I recently moved to Warner-Robins to be near my two sons and my five lovely grandchildren. I love to teach! I taught elementary and middle school in Charlotte, North Carolina for 25 years. Since my area of expertise is working with struggling learners, I was privileged to teach in two very specialized schools, where students had great potential but different learning styles than those in mainstream schools. I also love the word and consider it an honor to continue my love for teaching with teaching the word. I have been studying and sharing God’s word since I was 29 when I accepted Christ as my Savior. For many years I have taught home Bible studies. We did various studies by Beth Moore, Jennifer Rothschild, Max Lucado, and Priscilla Shirer . A few years ago I decided I wanted a more in-depth study of the word so I traveled to Chattanooga and attended classes with Kay Arthur and became a certified precepts teacher.
We all know that as women we need each other! We need support, study, fellowship, and fun conversation. And let’s not forget food! So… We would love for you to join us each week on Tuesday evening from 630 to 830 starting on Tuesday, January 24. We will look in the Scriptures together, learn lessons for life, and through fellowship we will learn how to apply them to our lives. For the next few weeks we will be studying Peter and what he has to say about life. Peter talks about the true grace of God and how to stand firm in that grace, when as the Psalmist says, the mountains quake and the seas roar, but our God is a very present help in time of trouble. Come and discover joy, freedom, and abundant life as we encounter the God in the Bible. The group will meet at my home in the Bedford Park Apartments on Leverette Road in Warner-Robins. I am very much looking forward to meeting you and sharing life together.
Ps. While the study is geared to single women, it certainly doesn’t mean that a married woman looking for a women’s Bible study would not be welcome.
